Okay, so we’re now at the testing phase of this project as we’ve found five registry fix products to test. How I’m going to test this is to take a snapshot of my machine with Norton Ghost, and then I’ll install each software product one at a time. I’ll be using an HP laptop running Windows XP, a Toshiba laptop running Vista Ultimate, and a Dell desktop running Windows 7.
As a computer technician, I want to make sure that the results are hardware and software independent. During the testing we’ll make record of how many instances of system and registry issues are uncovered, and how long it takes to clean the system.
What we also like is that the five products we’ve decided to test all have free scans when you download the software. We’ll be back in a day or two to let you know about our results.
