The program comprises two panels, one on the left and the other on the top. All registry and PC maintenance activities can be easily performed by using the options available on the left panel. Whereas you may use the options on the top panel to configure, update, and register your software. Options on the interface are accessible in the form of large and easy to locate buttons. This makes the software quite simple to use and a very good option, especially for novice users who are not very well versed with various aspects of PC maintenance.

The Best Features

Simplicity: Ease-of-use is the most appealing feature of the RegCure program. Easily accessible options make the program self-explanatory and there is no need for you to be a technical expert to use it.

Safe Scan: The built-in Safe Scan feature makes registry scan and repair using the RegCure tool safe. Whenever you use the software to repair or defrag the registry, an automatic registry backup is made. Additionally, the program makes a system restore point using the Windows System Restore utility. So, if something goes wrong with your fixes, you can easily reverse them by restoring the registry backup or by reverting to the system restore point created by the tool.

Speed: RegCure is quick and scans through all the categories within a few minutes. We ran the scan on multiple computers and not a single scan took more than 5 minutes to complete. Even the fixes are done swiftly without causing any unnecessary delays.

Registry Defragmenter: Registry files fragment over time, causing the data access speed from the registry to slow down considerably. Registry defrag is a useful feature that reorganizes these fragmented registry files and makes them contiguous. When you defrag the registry, it is compressed and re-indexed. This enhances its performance and as a result speeds up your PC.

Automatic Scans: RegCure can be easily configured to perform automatic registry scans at regular intervals or at system startup. This feature is quite useful for new and not-so-technical users and also for users who frequently forget to perform regular PC maintenance.

Startup Manager: You can use the Startup Manager feature to easily disable unwanted startup programs. Doing this helps in freeing valuable computer memory and thus speeds up system startup and shutdown processes.

Automatic and Manual Backups: RegCure makes automatic registry backups every time you use it to repair or defrag the registry. You may also use the software to make manual backups, especially when you are trying to make some major changes to the system configuration. All backups are stored in separate files and, if required, you may choose to restore one or more than one backup files at the same time.

The Weaknesses

For a tool that offers so much at such economical rates, there are not many weaknesses to it. However, nothing is perfect, so, RegCure has its own drawbacks. It lacks the automatic update feature. So, if you fail to update it yourself, you may miss on some necessary updates. Also, it would be good to include some type of off-line help documentation. Currently, you can access help only when you are connected to the Internet.

These drawbacks, however, can be easily overlooked if you make it a practice to update your tools and applications at regular intervals. Also, the tool is so simple to use you may rarely find the need to seek additional help.

Conclusion

Finally, we can say that at such low costs the tool is a boon for all computer users who want to maintain a healthy, high performance Windows PC. A detailed analysis of the reported errors revealed that the software reports many more genuine errors in comparison to other registry tools available today. Also, the Safe Scan feature ensures a secure registry scan and repair process. This is the reason why we highly recommend the RegCure tool to all Windows users.
